A garburator, known simply as a garbage disposal, is a unit that is typically electrically powered that is installed underneath a sink’s drain that grinds up unwanted food and then diverting it away through the plumbing.
Our compost disposals, on the other hand, utilize a slightly different design. With this disposal, it does not have to be installed under the sink but can instead be placed wherever is most convenient on your kitchen counter. This is essentially a steel bin that goes beneath the surface of the counter. The lid incorporates a twist design so unwanted food scraps can easily be swept away and out of sight. Once you’re done cooking, the bin can be removed and put in the dishwasher for easy clean-up.
